Chattanooga Football Club Signs Midfielder Tate Robertson For 2021 Campaign

Chattanooga FC is pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Tate Robertson to the first team for the 2021 campaign. Robertson is a skilled midfielder who can play a multitude of positions on the pitch, and will add skill and toughness to the squad. “We are very pleased to welcome Tate Robertson to Chattanooga Football Club” said Peter Fuller, Head Coach, Chattanooga FC. “Tate had a great college career at Bowling Green University as well as two summers in USL League Two in which he was voted in the league first 11. Tate can play multiple positions and is an intelligent and tough player! He will be a fantastic fit with us. We feel very fortunate to have signed him to a contract with Chattanooga FC.” Tate spent his last two seasons with StumpTown Athletic, scoring a goal in six appearances. Prior to that, Robertson played with USL League Two squad Dayton Dutch Lions, where he scored 8 goals in 24 appearances. While with the Dutch Lions, Robertson finished his collegiate career with Bowling Green University. In four seasons with the Falcons he had 22 assists and 8 goals in 70 appearances. Joining the squad in the Scenic City is another positive step in Robertson’s career. “I’d like to thank Coach Fuller for giving me this chance to prove myself,” said Robertson. “I cannot wait to play under and learn from a coach who knows what it takes to win. I’m ready to get in front of the fans and give them something they can be proud of.” Tate is known for his intelligence and composure on the ball, as well has his toughness and ability to play multiple positions on the field. He will be an extremely valuable addition to the club when the season starts this spring.
