Javain Brown called up to Jamaica's men's national team for international friendly against Argentina

Vancouver Whitecaps FC wing back Javain Brown has been called up to Jamaica's men's national team for an upcoming international friendly against Argentina on September 27. The match will be played at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, with kickoff set for 8 p.m. PT. Brown, 23, will join up with Jamaica following the 'Caps home match against Cascadia rivals Seattle Sounders FC on September 17. So far this season, Brown has made 23 starts and 29 appearances across all competitions in 2022, showing his versatility by being deployed as a wing back or a centre back on either side of the pitch. The defender also scored his first MLS goal in the club's 1-1 road draw against Nashville SC on July 30.
