ProConnect Soccer Welcomes Deportivo Toluca Goalkeeper Kayla Thompson!

Former Brown University standout goalkeeper Kayla Thompson signs with Deportive Toluca. In 2021 Kayla was named to the All-Ivy Second Team and the All-Region First Team. She was selected to participate in2022 NEWISA Senior Bowl and named to the All-Ivy Academic Team. In her finalyear, Kayla Started all 16 games in goal for the Bears posting a team-best .724save percentage, 1.02 goals against average, and four shutouts. She served as team captain.Kayla graduates as the all-time program leader in goals against average (.73). She graduated fifth in program history in shutouts (13), sixth in wins (22), and 13th in save percentage (.813) while helping Brown win its second straight and league-leading 14th Ivy League title.Kayla who won two Ivy League Titles with Brown women's soccer was selected as a nominee for the 2022 NCAA Woman of the Year award.
